The General tab provides overall information on the ERP material stock that is being created/edited.
The following general options are available for ERP material stock:
| Field | Description |
| ERP Material Stock | The lowest level in the ERP inventory management hierarchy. In the case of SAP, this is known as a storage location. |
| ERP Stock Type | The type of material stock. This field allows the grouping of several ERP material stocks. This is not relevant to SAP storage types. |
| ERP System | The ERP system name. In the case of SAP, this is known as a client in a corporate structure. |
| ERP Plant | The ERP plant name. In the case of SAP, this is also known as a plant in a corporate structure. |
| Short/Medium/Extended Description | The localizable descriptions of the ERP material stock. |
| Unit Characteristics |
