Facility: General

Description

The General tab provides overall information on the Facility that is being created/edited. It also enables linking/unlinking other entities to the Facility and providing additional information that can affect operations in the Facility.

Fields

The following general options are available on the Facility General tab:

Field Description
Facility The name of the edited Facility. Once the Facility is created, the name cannot be changed.
Company The company to which the Facility belongs.
Division The division to which the Facility is assigned. The division is a way of grouping Facilities within a company.
Short/Medium/Extended Description The localizable descriptions of the Facility.
Purchasing Organization A setting that allows the assignment of the Facility to a selected purchasing organization. For future use.
Sales Organization For future use. A setting that allows the assignment of the Facility to a selected sales organization.
Calendar The calendar with which the Facility is associated.
Calendar for Maintenance The calendar used for activities related to the maintenance process. If no calendar is defined for Facility, then the Department linked to this Facility is checked and its Calendar for Maintenance is used.
Rotating Work Schedule The rotating work schedule to which the Facility is assigned.
Union The name of the employee union.
Default Over Receive % The amount provided to define the level of how many more goods can be received than were originally ordered. This is only information for an operator. In order for the system to reflect this estimate, it must be defined in the Process.
Labor Jurisdiction For future use.
Track Labor For future use.
Track Resource Labor The flag indicating whether resource labor will be tracked in the system. If this flag is set to false at the Facility level, it can be set to true on the resource level.
Track Attendance For future use.
