The Warehouse Location is the position in the Warehouse where goods are stored. It is the smallest unit in the Warehouse Maintenance module. It may constitute a rack, shelf, cage, etc. The Warehouse Location can be used for shipping or receiving purposes, or it can be used to track inventory. Most commonly, a Warehouse Location is defined by providing the situating information in the Dimensions and Coordinates tab:

Explore | Used to explore a Facility structure. Clicking the icon opens a Warehouse Location Multi-Editor that allows the user to explore the structure of the whole Warehouse. The Warehouse Location multi-editor is composed of the Navigation Tree on the left (where the selected Warehouse Location is highlighted) and the Warehouse Location Editor on the right. |
